'Anchorman 2' Movie Trailer [VIDEO]: 'The Legend Continues' with First Look at Ron Burgundy & His News Team in 2013 Sequel

The first trailer for the Anchorman sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, has arrived and it gives us our first glimpse back into the lives of our favorite characters from the 2004 comedy. We are reintroduced to Ron Burgundy, Brian Fantana, Champ Kind, and Brick Tamland as the legendary news team is faced with adapting with the changing times and moves to New York City. There are also a handful of new characters ranging from antagonists to love interests. If you were already excited for this highly anticipated sequel, just wait until you watch this first look at the 2013 film!

Here is the official synopsis of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues:

"With the 70′s behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues." Also back for more are Ron's co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) - All of whom won't make it easy to stay classy...while taking New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm."

As you can see, the synopsis does not give too much away in terms of the actual plot or story line that we are going to see this winter when it hits theaters, but luckily we have this trailer. In the first footage from the film, we can see that Kristen Wiig seems to be flirting with Steve Carell's character and also that a younger anchorman, played by James Marsden, offers some opposition to Ron and his team. Plus it looks like Ron's marriage to Corningstone might be in trouble with the addition of Meagan Good.
