The highly anticipated movie about Apple computer founder Steve Jobs' life is set to be released in theaters August 16. The trailer for "Jobs" was just released and it has a lot of people buzzing. Ashton Kutcher is starring in the movie as Jobs alongside Josh Gad as Jobs' partner Steve Wozniak. The question now is if "Jobs" can prove to be as successful as "The Social Network" and Facebook founder Makr Zuckerberg's movie about his life.

In addition to Kutcher and Gad the movie includes Matthew Modine, Dermot Mulroney, J.K. Simmons, and James Woods. The trailer (below) shows the iconic Apple founder's rise to fame as well as his exit from the company. Kutcher actually looks the part, although it remains to be seen if his acting ability can hold up. Kutcher has been in a number of successful projects, mostly TV shows like "That 70's Show" and "Two And a Half Men." Kutcher is also clearly more comfortable in a comedic role, so this will be a huge test for the actor.

"Jobs" was originally titled "jOBS" and, according to CNET the movie debuted at the Sundance Film Festival to mixed reviews. If this movie doesn't pan out it could turn out be the "Superman Returns" of the Superman movies. Acclaimed writer/director Aaron Sorkin is reportedly planning a competing Jobs biopic Walter Isaacson's bestselling biography of the Apple founder. Sorkin revealed via The Daily Beast, "this entire movie is going to be three scenes, and three scenes only, that all take place in real time." Sorkin's take on Jobs will likely be bold and innovating, not much unlike Jobs himself. You can watch the trailer below. Comment below with your thoughts on Ashton Kutcher's take on Steve Jobs.
