'Captain America 2': 'Winter Soldier' Rumors, Set Photos, Spoilers of Returning Character, Villains

"Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier" is expected to be released in theaters on April 4, 2014. However, the rumors and news surrounding the sequel to "Captain America" are starting to come in. New photos from the "Captain America 2" set have been released that include big spoilers for fans. Keep reading only if you are ok with reading spoilers. The movie's big stars are all expected to return including Chris Evans as Steve Rogers aka Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow.

According to the Cleveland Heights Patch, and a photo on their website, Hayley Atwell is returning for the "Captain America" sequel. This means Captain America's love interest, Peggy Carter, in the original film will be in the second film. However, according to the Patch, Carter has aged in the second film.

The IMDB synopsis for the movie reads:

"As Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C."

As for the villains in "Captain America 2" Latino Review reported a couple months ago that UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre would be playing one of the bad guys. St-Pierre isn't listed on the IMDB page of cast and crew, but it is being rumored that he will be playing Batroc the Leaper. There also are reportedly two other villains in "The Winter Soldier." Crossbones played by Frank Grillo and Arnim Zola played by Toby Jones are also rumored to be in "Captain America 2."
