Just in time for the Fourth of July, Demi Lovato is bragging about being "Made in the USA." The X Factor judge and pop star has announced that the track will be her next single.

"Made in the USA" will be the second single from Lovato's 2013 album Demi, according to MTV News. The single will officially hit radio on Thursday, June 27. A lyric video will hit YouTube on Wednesday. It is unknown when the official music video will drop. However, it is known that Lovato made her directorial debut for the clip.

"I always wanted to do it when I was younger, then I just had the opportunity this time, and I was like, 'Oh my God. I have to take advantage of this," Lovato told MTV. "So, I came up with the idea for the treatment and I told my manager this is what I want on this second and on this show and this to happen, and want this camera to pan that way. He was like, 'Why don't you just direct it?'"

"Made in the USA" is a light, up-tempo love song. The lyrics compare love to a Chevy and a letter, expressing how deep it is. Listen to the new Demi Lovato single below:

Though Lovato has a new video and song to celebrate, the "Heart Attack" singer also experienced some bad news this weekend. Her estranged father, Patick Lovato, passed away on June 22.

The singer and her father hadn't spoken to each other since 2007, and Lovato wrote the song "For the Love of a Daughter" about their strained relationship.
