After releasing their new single "In A World Like This" officially yesterday and touring radio stations in Boston and New York City, boy band Backstreet Boys took to Kelly and Michael this morning to perform their new hit single.

Despite the song's mid-tempo sound, the energy was high energy, with all five boys shuffling around on the stage and singing their hearts out, all while clearly having fun. Though tracks with notes as high as "In A World Like This" tend to fall flat live, the fives men of BSB hit every single note and were on key.

The recorded melodies translated perfectly to a live setting, further proving that 20 years into the game, Backstreet Boys still have as much talent as ever, even if they don't have coordinating outfits or matching dance moves anymore.

Post-song, Michael Strahan noted that the boys have grown in the last 20 years, figuratively and literally. During their first performance at Sea World, the band joked that Nick Carter was only shoulder high.

Backstreet Boys closed out Live with Kelly and Michael with an a capella rendition of In A World Like This track "Permanent Stain," which is rumored to be the second single off the album.

Though the unplugged version of the track was only a minute long, it was as rich as ever. BSB have always been known for their ability to perfectly blend their vocals together and did so again this morning. Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and Nick Carter took the high noted "Ooh"-ing, while AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson carried the melody.
