Veronica Mars Kickstarter: Justin Long and Kristen Bell to Star in Film Adaptation [CAST LIST]

A "Veronica Mars" fan/member of the media with a sharp eye recognized a new cast member on set while the film was being shot in Los Angeles on Friday. Sources "exclusive" to E! News confirmed that Justin Long will be making at least a cameo in the film. 

The actor was spotted on set shooting with the star, Kristen Bell, and actress Krysten Ritter (of "Breaking Bad" fame, but also appeared in the TV series). That's about all the inside source knows, although there's a good chance that source is just the film's Twitter account. 

"We're doing our best to avoid spoilers for you. All we ask is that you wait until you SEE the movie to decide whether you like it. :)" the account said. "We respect and value LoVe and Pizonica fans alike, gang, but we're not going to ruin the experience by oversharing plot points."

The film, which as of yet has the same title as the television program, is set to be released in 2014 although no official date has been set. The film has also generated buzz due to its successful Kickstarter campaign. The film currently has a $6 million budget, $5 million of which was generated in March and April by fan eager to see a film release. Production just began in mid-June.
