Kanye West's new 2013 album Yeezus may have topped the album charts in its first week, but it looks like its second week wasn't so kind. Not even praise from legendary artist Lou Reed could help West's Yeezus from tumbling down the album charts. West has had his fair share of critics for his "confidence" and ego that he has been portraying in interviews. For West's critics, this may be some payback. According to Nieslen Soundscan, Yeezus suffered the fourth largest drop in the charts in U.S. history.

Yeezus, West's sixth solo album, was released on June 18 making its mark on the U.S. and UK album charts on top. On Wednesday, Nielsen Soundscan announced that Yeezus' sales dropped 80% in its second week. The Guardian reports that this makes it the largest second week drop for a number one album since Madonna's MDNA.

Beating out Yeezus on the charts was Wale's The Gifted and J Cole's Born Sinner. J Cole's album also dropped big time in its second week, but its 72% drop wasn't quite as bad as West's album.

Rock-and-Roll Hall-of-Famer Lou Reed recently praised West's new album calling it "majestic and inspiring." According to USA Today, Reed was impressed with Yeezus. "He keeps unbalancing you," Reed said. "He'll pile on all this sound and then suddenly pull it away, all the way to complete silence, and then there's a scream or a beautiful melody, right there in your face. That's what I call a sucker punch."

This news comes on the heels of the news that West and girlfriend Kim Kardashian were offered $3 million dollars for photos of their new baby North West. The couple has reportedly made it a point to protect their baby from having photos released, but not even $3 million will get them to budge.
