Amber Tamblyn, known for her roles on "House" and "Joan of Arcadia," has been cast as the long-lost, illegitimate, lesbian daughter to Charlie Sheen's written off character in "Two and a Half Men." With the departure of the previous "half of a man," Angus T. Jones, Tamblyn's character Jenny will fill the void, reportedly taking on similar characteristics of her father. This includes an interest in women. Executive producer Chuck Lorre is very excited about the upcoming eleventh season of the show as Tamblyn joins Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher.

"I think it would be great to have a voice on the show from a different perspective," Lorre said. "The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime."

"Part of the fun in this has been creating a character that is equal to the task of stepping on the stage with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. That's a big job," he added. "The idea of the character brings a healthy amount of decadence, which is always fun on Two and a Half Men."

When asked about the departure of Jones from "Two and a Half Men," Lorre said, "It's really commendable that he wants to make that the next part of his life."

"He misstepped last year, and it's just not fair to judge him on that," the showrunner continued. "I certainly hope he comes back from time to time. But for now he's embarking on a new life."

Mstars previously reported on the cast shakeup:

"The series regular role for next season calls for a girl in her late teens or early 20s who will show up at Walden Schmidt's (Ashton Kutcher's) house looking for her father, aka Charlie. He previously owned the house before Schmidt bought it after Harper's death. The character is expected to move in with Schmidt and her uncle, Alan Harper (Jon Cryer), who also lives in the home."
