Despite having her new single off of her upcoming album, "PRISM," leak early over the weekend, Katy Perry is still soldiering on with promoting it and released a new lyric video for "Roar." Though we still have to wait for the first official music video from "PRISM," this special lyric video for "Roar" embraces the popular text message add-ons of Emojis to create a unique version of a music video.

Mstars recently reported on the leak of "Roar" over the weekend. Her is an excerpt:

Perry's new album Prism will officially be released October 22. Billboard reports that her single "Roar" will hit iTunes at midnight on Monday August 12. "Roar" will also reportedly be aired on some Clear Channel radio stations hourly in honor of its release.

The song is very catchy, like pretty much every Katy Perry song. It's also a very motivational song. The lyrics read:

"I've got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire / 'cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar!"

It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers "Roar" puts up after being leaked early. It may end up turning out to be better for Perry that the single leaked early because a number of websites are reporting on the song a few days earlier than expected.

In other Katy Perry news, her gold Prism promotional truck was reportedly hit by a drunk driver on Friday. TMZ reports that the truck was reportedly parked in a Pennsylvania Wal-Mart parking lot when another truck slammed into it. Luckily no one was injured and the driver of the truck that slammed into Perry's truck has reportedly been arrested for drunk driving.
