It's a down home week for the album chart this week. In a huge debut, country artist Luke Bryan's fourth studio album "Crash My Party" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week and ended up having one of the best week's worth of sales for the year, according to the sales tracking website.

"Crash My Party" moved over 527,000 copies over the last seven days, giving Bryan's album the third best sales week in 2013. The record has only been beaten by two of the biggest names in music, Justin Timberlake (whose "The 20/20 Experience" sold 968,000 copes) and Jay Z ("Magna Carter Holy Grail" sold 528,000).

This marks Bryan's second No. 1 album, and the huge sales numbers should be no real surprise. The record was preceded by the lead single of the same name, which peaked at No. 19 on the Hot 100 and No. 2 on the US Country chart.

Last week's competition was also scarce, and Bryan blew away his competition. R&B artist K. Michelle came in at No. 2 with "Rebellious Soul," selling 72,000 copies. The debut album from Michelle moved impressive numbers for a woman who is best known for appearing on the VH1 reality show "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta."

The rest of the top 10 on the Billboard 200 is familiar fare. "Now 47" fell one spot to No. 3 (52,000 copies). Former No. 1 album Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" fell yet another spot to No. 4 (48,000 copies) and last week's No. 1 The Civil Wars' self-titled album descended to No. 5 (39,000 copies).

The top 10 was rounded out by: "Magna Carta Holy Grail" (37,000 copies), "Teen Beach Movie" soundtrack (33,000 copies), Florida Georgia Line's "Here's to the Good Times" (27,000 copies) and Five Finger Death Punch's "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell."

Next week, the Billboard 200 will return with some big names. Most notably, John Mayer's latest album "Paradise Valley" hit shelves on Tuesday (Aug. 20).
