Last night, boy band One Direction took their "This Is Us" media tour to the reality competition show "America's Got Talent." To promote their upcoming behind-the-scenes film, they performed "Best Song Ever" and spoke briefly about the movie, which apparently includes shirtless band members.

The performance of "Best Song Ever" was actually one of 1D's nest TV showcases of the new song to date. All five members owned the "America's Got Talent" stage, oozing confidence and enthusiasm. Vocally, each of the five members delivered, adding in extra vocal runs, yelps and shouts for audience participation. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson had particularly inspired turns on their solos.

It's not as though One Direction even needed to do the last part. The screams and singing along of the audience was fully audible throughout their entire time on stage, making their interview slightly difficult to hear.

Regardless, the five members tried their hardest to be heard and promote "This Is Us." They told host Nick Cannon what exactly moviegoers can expect to see.

"I think it's just a great chance for fans to see what they want to see. There's backstage, what happens behind closed doors and stuff like that," said Styles. Later, Malik teased the band could only "try" to go wild and out, but that there are "plenty of topless scenes."

As if the girls in the audience needed any more reason to scream.

"One Direction: This Is Us" will be released in the United States Aug. 30.
