Miley Cyrus, 'Meltdown Waiting to Happen' [VIDEO]: Elton John Says Twerking 'Wrecking Ball' Songstress Likely to Break Soon After Split w/ Liam Hemsworth

Elton John has some sort of talent when it comes to calling the downfall of an artist before it happens. It happened with Lindsay Lohan and Ryan Adams, both of which situations Sir Elton John went on record saying they would not last long in the spotlight. Now the award-winning singer has come out saying that the same will happen to Miley Cyrus.

In a new interview with The Australian, John said: "I look at Miley Cyrus and I see a meltdown waiting to happen. And she's so young. But she's got two records in the top 20, so who is going to stop her."

Do you think John's prediction will come true?

The 20-year-old singer is certainly going through a lot these days, so maybe the pressure will get to her? Her 16-month engagement to Liam Hemsworth just came to an end, so perhaps a spiral downward will follow. What do you think?

Elton John had some other meltdown concerns to share.

In regards to Lady Gaga, who happens to be the Godmother to his son Zachary, John said:

"I'd like to be able to talk to her right now, but I can't get through to her. And there are times when you have to listen. When your persona begins to take over your music and becomes more important, you enter a dangerous place. Once you have people around you who don't question you, you're in a dangerous place."

He added: "Look at Lindsay Lohan. There was someone with a successful career and her parents completely f***ed her up. The dad was in jail and the mum was doing coke with her. Great!"
