'Star Wars 7' News [PHOTOS]: Michael B. Jordan & David Oyelowo Cast in 2015's 'Episode VII'? J.J. Abrams' Latest Interview Backs up Rumors?

Casting rumors surrounding Star Wars: Episode VII keep popping up this week. After yesterday's news about young Irish actress Saoirse Ronan being called in to read for a part (most likely a female villain), a new update suggests Michael B. Jordan and David Oyelowo are also on J.J. Abrams' list.

According to Latino Review (which was also the source breaking the news on Ronan and basically every other rumor) Oyelowo "went in" to read for an unnamed role. Meanwhile, the site also reports that Jordan has met with Abrams himself.

Are the two young actors up for the same part or will they both be featured in the film? Both actors have definitely been proving their respective worth in the industry and both previously worked with Lucasfilm on the Tuskegee Airmen drama Red Tails.

Whether these two actors are being "eyed" or cast in this film, J.J. Abrams recently spoke about his hopes for the upcoming film.

"It's been nice see that how important it is and to be reminded how important it is to so many people," Abrams explained. "We all know that [creator George Lucas'] dream has become almost a religion to some people. I remember reading a thing somewhere, someone wrote about just wanting [the new film] to feel real; to feel authentic. I remember I felt that way when I was 11 years old when I saw the first one. As much of a fairy tale as it was, it felt real. And to me, that is exactly right."
