In a special performance on BBC Radio 1, Justin Timberlake covered The Jackson 5's 1978 hit song "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)" with a full band. Timberlake was recently awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, so this cover is definitely fitting.

Justin was recently in headlines for joking about an'NSYNC collaboration with One Direction. Here is an excerpt from Mstars' coverage of that story:

While appearing on the United Kingdom talk show "Daybreak," international pop sensation Justin Timberlake spoke about the current biggest boy band in the world, One Direction. The "Mirrors" singer praised the young lads and even joked about having some sort of collaboration between 1D and his old boy band 'NSYNC. Considering the latter reunited for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, could this joke turn into a reality?

When asked about Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, Timberlake responded: "What I have seen [of them], I like them. They seem grounded to me, I like that about them."

Then Timberlake was asked by "Daybreak" co-host Kate Garraway if he would consider a One Direction collaboration with 'NSYNC.

"Really can ten of those hairstyles be on the same stage? I think we already know the answer," he joked. "We should just form some super group. It'd be hilarious."

So it looks like Justin was simply joking around, but considering One Direction doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon, perhaps the "Suit and Tie" singer should think about the possibility!
