Tonight, 30 Rock will be taken over by Miley Cyrus, as the "Wrecking Ball" singer will host and be the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." Since the beginning of her "Bangerz" era, Cyrus has been known for drumming up controversy, be it with her scandalous music videos, her twerking on the VMAs or even some Twitter drama.

So, it's likely that there will be something shocking or outrageous on "SNL" tonight, and the sketch comedy show is certainly the thing to watch on TV. That being said, here are three things we do and do not want to see Cyrus do tonight on "SNL."

Do Want:

1. "The Miley Cyrus Show"

Last time Cyrus hosted "SNL" in 2011, the singer appeared on the reoccurring "The Miley Cyrus" show sketch to poke fun of herself and "Baby" singer Justin Bieber, who she impersonated. In the last two years, Cyrus has undergone a complete makeover and in the last few months she's had some controversies she could address on "SNL." With Vanessa Bayer's spot-on Miley impression, some good ol' fashioned jokes at Cyrus' expense would be refreshing and hilarious.

2. Hannah Montana Gone Bad!

Along the same lines of wanting to see Cyrus in "The Miley Cyrus Show" sketch, a bit where Cyrus revisits her old Disney alter ego has some real humorous potential. Perhaps Hannah has gone "bad" just like Miley has, or maybe she's shocked at what she has become. Either way, just the thought of Cyrus taking on Hannah Montana one more time has some great potential. Perhaps Cyrus doesn't even want to touch that character again, but if she did, this could be one funny way to put her to bed.

3. New Music from "Bangerz"

Cyrus isn't just hosting "SNL," she will also perform two songs as the musical guest. It's almost a guarantee that she will make the TV debut of "Wrecking Ball" tonight, but what will be Cyrus' second song? She could return to the first "Bangerz" single, "We Can't Stop," but a live debut of another album track would be far more interesting. Perhaps she'll go emotional with "Drive" or "Adore You." Cyrus could also bring the party to 30 Rock with one of "Bangerz" more upbeat tracks, like "4x4" or "SMS (Bangerz)." Either way, hearing a new song would be far more interesting than watching "We Can't Stop" yet again.

Do NOT Want

1. Making Fun of Sinead O'Connor

Over the last week, a new online feud has sparked between Miley Cyrus and "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer, so Cyrus could take time on "Saturday Night Live" to lampoon O'Connor's antics, and sources at Hollywood Life say she will do just that. However, Cyrus has already taken the low road in the feud, posting old Twitter statuses of O'Connor's from her mental breakdown several years ago. It's time to just put that feud to rest and take the high road, Miley. "SNL" is no place for petty fights.

2. Firing Back at Liam Hemsworth

Along a similar vein, taking on her ex-fiancé would be a little tactless for Cyrus. She hasn't publicly addressed her broken engagement since it happened in September, so Cyrus could choose to take it on tonight at NBC. However, like making fun of O'Connor, some things should just be dealt with privately, not in front of millions on TV.

3. Twerking, Excessive Tongue Wagging

We got enough of that at the VMAs. It'd be nice to see Cyrus perform her "Bangerz" tracks on stage without outrageous dance moves or funny faces. Her music does have some strength to it, so Cyrus should ride out the emotion of "Wrecking Ball" and whatever else she chooses to perform without resorting to controversial antics.
