One Direction's Liam Payne Robbed: Directioners Break Into 'Midnight Memories' Singer 's Australian Hotel Room & Steal Underwear, Twitter Reaction

Although Liam Payne is currently on the Australian leg of One Direction's "Take Me Home" tour, the 20-year-old singer's mind is probably focused on the recent theft at Palm Beach hotel this week. According to reports, some One Direction fans broke into Liam's room and stole a pair of red Calvin Klein boxer-brief underwear. The culprits were 6 teenage girls and an 8-year-old boy.

One eyewitness watched as the crazed fans broke into the Jonah's Whale Beach hotel room and took the underwear.

"Six girls broke into the room with an 8-year-old boy," she said. "They jumped over a glass door. The door was unlocked to his room."

"They are going to keep the underwear, they are so excited," she continued. "They are Calvin Klein underwear. They only took the underwear. They wanted to take a wetsuit but someone bought it inside."

This eyewitness almost got in trouble for the theft, too.

"I am getting blamed by security because they think they are my kids," she said. "Security are onto me, they were trying to get my details for breaking and entering into their room. They think I took the underwear and I'm going to get charged. One Direction are not nice security [sic]. They are extremely angry."

Meanwhile, Liam took to his Twitter account and posted the following tweets. His account of the theft differs a bit from the eyewitness, but his underwear was still stolen:
