Yesterday, the Jonas Brothers shocked music fans when they abruptly cancelled their October tour two days before its due start date in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Those who planned to see the "First Time" band on their 19-stop trek weren't the only ones who were surprised by the news, however. Members of the Jonas' own backing band were not aware of the cancelled tour plans until the group's representative made the announcement to People.

According to Greg "Garbo" Garbowsky, bassist for the Jonas Brothers, he was unaware of the cancelled tour until yesterday, as well. "I found out about the tour cancellation yesterday just like all of you. I'm bummed that I won't get to see any of you guys on the road," he tweeted earlier today (Oct. 10). "Sorry it went down last minute. I was looking forward to it too. I'm sure the Jonas' will say something when they have more info to share."

Band member Marcus Kincy echoed Garbo's statements, tweeting that he knows nothing more than the fans do about the future of the tour or the Jonas Brothers. "I'm very sorry abt Tour being cancelled. I know as much info as you guys...I'm sure the boys will speak when the time is appropriate. Love," he wrote.

Meanwhile, the three main Jonas Brothers members Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas have remained silent on the manner.

News of the cancelled October tour broke yesterday when Jonas Brothers representative Jesse Derris told People that the tour was cancelled due to musical disagreements within the band and that they were experiencing a "deep rift."

The band had been in preparations for the tour, tweeting teasers to fans as late as Oct. 4.
