While most of the talk surrounding Will Ferrell over the next few months will be about his return as Ron Burgundy in "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues," there is more big news involving the funny man. The Wrap is reporting that Ferrell and John C. Reilly will be reuniting for a new comedy called "Devil's Night."

The duo's latest movie will be their third comedy together. They previously starred together in "Step Brothers" and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby." However, Reilly also apparently will have a cameo role in "Anchorman 2," which is set to be released in theaters Dec. 20th. There is a ton of hype surrounding "Anchorman 2," but it remains to be seen if Ferrell can recreate the success in the sequel.

As far as "Devil's Night" goes, the film is set on the night before Halloween when teenagers are known to go around their neighborhoods vandalizing properties with toilet paper and eggs. The Wrap explains that the plot follows two friends, Leonard and Gabe, who became close after participating in the shenanigans involved on Oct. 30th. However, it was this same night that also broke up their friendship. 15 years later Leonard and Gabe are reunited to try and save their neighborhood from the destruction of "Devil's Night."

This plot definitely has a ton of potential for some very funny and classic scenes. Obviously it's way too early to tell how the movie will turn out, but based on Ferrell and Reilly's track record, this movie could be very funny.

The Wrap reports that Ferrell and Adam Mackay's Gary Sanchez Productions will produce the movie for Sony. Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul are reportedly writing the movie. Mogel and Paul co-created the FOX animated series "Allen Gregory" and also wrote the Jim Carrey movie "Yes Man."
