YouTube sensation and MTV Video Music Award winner Austin Mahone recently opened up about his future in music with MTV. The singer spoke about his affiliation with Cash Money Records and how he hopes to collaborate with one of his biggest musical inspirations, Drake.

"It's really cool," Mahone said, describing his recent move to Cash Money Recrods. "Cash Money and Universal teamed up to help me and help me grow my career. Those guys are just amazing and super nice; very professional. It's really cool to be a part of it."

Austin hopes his new home might also lead to collaborations with his labelmates.

"You know, [Cash Money] just told me to keep working hard," he said. "They keep telling me they believe in me, and it's really cool to hear that from them, 'cause, you know, I've been a fan of them for years and it's really cool to hear that. Plus, they give me encouragement and just tell me big things are coming, they got songs for me, and it's really a lot of fun."

When asked which artist he would want to work with the most, Mahone didn't hesitate.

"Probably Drake," he exclaimed. '"He's one of my biggest inspirations for music. He's an amazing artist. He speaks his mind and he keeps it real, so I'd like to do a collaboration with Drake."

This isn't the first time Austin mentioned working with Drake. The young singer posed for an Instagram picture with the rapper during the MTV Video Music Awards and included a message to Drake in the photo caption:
