Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards Wedding News & Rumors: Little Mix Songstress 'On Cloud Nine' & 'So Happy' About Engagement to One Direction Hunk

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are currently thinking about planning their dream wedding together. With Zayn busy being in the biggest boy band in the world, Perrie has had a lot of time to talk about the upcoming ceremony. She recently admitted that she hasn't started planning, but knows that it will be spectacular. She also took some time to talk about Zayn's proposal and how happy she is to be engaged to the One Direction heartthrob.

"We're just so happy right now. I'm on cloud nine and so is he," Perrie exclaimed.

The young sister debuted her engagement ring at the premiere of One Direction's documentary concert movie This Is Us and caused quite the scene. When asked if she was nervous about showing up wearing the ring before announcing the engagement, she said: "To be honest, I didn't even think about it. I was going to an event, getting ready with the girls, excited to see him. I get scared at red carpets in case I fall over and I didn't want to do that with the ring. But luckily I didn't embarrass meself!" (sic)

But what did her best friends and Little Mix members think of the engagement news?

"Literally she got proposed to on Sunday, we were back at work on Monday and it was the first thing she said," Jade Thirlwall revealed.

Little Mix's Leigh Anne Pinnock added: "When she told me I was verging on tears! Yeah I am such a baby! We're so happy for her."
