According to Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, the current Australian leg of their "Take Me Home" tour has been the most isolating. The One Direction boys recently revealed that they spend most of their time in their respective hotel rooms due to the cunning Twitter tracking skills of their fans.

You might also remember that Liam had his underwear stolen from his hotel room balcony. The 20-year-old singer opened up about being stuck in his hotel room.

"To be fair it has been quite difficult in Australia this time," Payne said.

"In the grand scheme of things worldwide I have gone out a lot less in Australia than anywhere else," he revealed. "I tried to go shopping one day and literally within minutes there were 60 girls following me around the shops. If one picture of you gets Tweeted everyone knows exactly where you are and that's you done for the day then you're stuck with people following you around."

Payne then added this little plea to the end of his statement:

"We are just normal lads, we do want our privacy sometimes just to throw a football around and let off a bit of steam, rather than constantly being in the public eye."

Horan added: "You have to look past it sometimes and just get out. There's no point living like a prisoner in your hotel. Even if they are nice hotels."

Payne had to deal with his underwear getting stolen by adventurous fans. Though it was quite an ordeal at the time, he can laugh about it now.

"If you flip it the other way round and it was me looking through the window, I'd have been straight off to jail," he said.
