Lady Gaga has never been one to shy away from her critics. The controversial pop star recently did so on her first Artpop single "Applause." Now, it seems like the Mother Monster is at it again. Ahead of the release of the Artpop album track "Do What U Want" (feat. R. Kelly), Gaga took to her official Twitter account to fire back at some of her most common criticisms and famous detractors.

Gaga began her Twitter rant/comebacks/promotion with the used-to-be common criticism about weight gain from 2012. "LADY GAGA IS FAT NOW #DoWhatUWantWithMyBody," she tweeted alongside an unflattering photo from last year.

Other criticisms Gaga took on were: ripping off Madonna, hermaphrodite rumors, drug rumors and the Katy Perry "Roar" sales feud.

In addition to using hashtags, Gaga also addressed some of the dirtier rumors. As for her drug use? Gaga opened up about her everyday struggle: "...(been an addict for 10years #WriteWhatUWant My recovery is a daily battle," she wrote. For those who think she's an abomination against God? "I'll always fight for equality, got my own relationship with God," she said.

This isn't the first time Gaga has fired back at critics lately in order to promote her Artpop era. The opening seconds of her VMA performance was filled with canned boos and yells of "Lady Gaga is over." The album's lead single "Applause" addresses the nature of celebrity and fans versus critics. "I've overheard your theory / Nostalgia's for geeks / I guess, sir, if you say so / Some of us just like to read," she sings in the song's second verse.

"Do What U Want," a preview of Artpop announced last week, will be released at 12:01 a.m. tonight (Oct. 21).
