Edgar Wright's upcoming Ant-Man project has been building up a lot of buzz around the Internet recently. Earlier this month, two high profile names were rumored to be on the casting short list for the leading role of Hank Pym A.K.A. Ant-Man: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd. Neither of these actors has been confirmed for the role, but this week we have another casting rumor that could reunite Rudd with one of his most beloved on-screen partners. Rashida Jones could be portraying Janet Van Dyne A.K.A. the Wasp in Ant-Man.

According to Super Hero Movies News, a source revealed: "Janet will be a love interest and a major supporting character, we would see multiple references to her future as The Wasp throughout the film."

Jones' casting is supported by the source saying that Marvel want her for her chemistry with the other actors. Jones and Rudd have acted with each other in such films as I Love You Man and Our Idiot Brother, with plenty of chemistry between the two being very apparent in each of those projects.

It also looks like Rudd is the only frontrunner for the leading role considering Gordon-Levitt (an actor often rumored for super hero roles) recently denied the Ant-Man rumors.

"There are always rumors. I talk a lot about my future projects, so if you haven't heard me talk about it, it means it's nothing but a rumor," he said. "People like to write about [rumors]."

The 500 Days of Summer star also added that these reports of his having passed auditions or screen tests for the role of Hank Pym were "nothing but lies."

Would you like to see Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones together again in Ant-Man or are you hoping that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is still in the mix? Let us know in the comments section!
