These days it's hard to determine what rumors surrounding Star Wars: Episode VII are worth taking note of considering the shear amount. Thankfully, there is a constant in this equation to keep us together: Harrison Ford. The former Han Solo portrayer has been dodging casting rumors for so long and with such audacity that he manages to balance out all of the other rumors by simply avoiding them. It's almost as if he is the Force to our universe - if our universe was our constant struggle to get any information on this J.J. Abrams film.

As usual, when asked about the upcoming Star Wars film project, Ford offers up a cryptic response that doesn't lean in either the direction of him being involved or not being involved.

"I think even to say it's unresolved is kind of an enhancer. I prefer not to have to be confronted with that," the actor said in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, Ford's young Endger's Game co-star, Asa Butterfield, decided to try and use his connection to the Han Solo actor to try and land a role in J.J. Abram's Star Wars: Episode VII.

What role? Han Solo Jr., of course!

I'm trying to slip a word in," said Butterfield. "I'm writing him little notes and whispering into his [Ford's] ear when he's asleep."

He added in a whisper: "Asa Butterfield... Han Solo Junior..."

To be fair, Butterfield could be a good candidate for such a role. He's a rising star and Ender's Game will certainly help his celebrity grow.

Ford also compared working with new technology on Ender's Game compared to his early work on the Star Wars films.

"The capacity to generate effects is very compelling," he said. "The danger of so much visual excitement is that you lose the human story, which is what connects emotionally to the audience. But all the people involved were very passionate about the ideas in the film. It was more ambitious than just another kinetic exercise."
