Last night, Katy Perry and some of the biggest female names in pop music performed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for a breast cancer awareness concert, We Can Survive: Music For Life. The epic night, which included sets from Kacey Musgraves, Tegan and Sara and Ellie Goulding in addition to Perry concluded with all the female performers of the night banding together and rocking out to a splendid rendition of Perry's smash Prism hit "Roar."

Led by Perry, Bonnie McKee and Sara Bareilles joined Goulding, Musgaves and Tegan and Sara for an all-female all-empowering version of the song. The seven women traded off singing duties between choruses and bridges before all joining together for the bombastic, explosive chorus.

Songwriter and "American Girl" singer Bonnie McKee got a special shout out from Perry during her vocal take "She wrote this song too!" Perry exclaimed, making sure her lesser-known partner got the attention she deserved.

Each singer, known for a different style of pop music, actually blended together perfectly for the live version of the track.

Watch Perry and friends sing "Roar" below.
