Songwriter and pop artist Sia Furler has worked with the biggest names in music, and not just some of them. She's recently written songs for new albums by Katy Perry and Britney Spears. Sia is also responsible for such monster hits like Rihanna's "Diamonds" and Flo Rida's "Wild Ones." Despite being one of the most sought-after musicians in the game, the 37-year-old Australian has no interest in being famous.

In an anti-fame "manifesto" published in Billboard (where she also appears on the cover), Sia claimed that she has no interest in being a mega-star, particularly after seeing how harsh teens, fans and the media can be on some of her co-workers. Likening the public eye to a conniving "mother-in-law," Sia detailed what life is like for the famous.

"If I were famous, I might want to see what is happening on the news channel, or on CNN.com. But I couldn't. Because I would know that I might run into that mother-in-lar there, sharp-tongued and lying in wait for my self-esteem," she wrote.

Likely playing off real life comments said about her famous friends, Sia continued about how harsh the public can be. "And she's not just making cracks about dying before I give her some grandkids, she's asking me if I'm barren," she wrote. "She's asking me whether I'm 'so unattractive under those clothes that her son/daughter doesn't want to f--- me anymore,' or if I'm 'so dumb I don't know what a d--- is and how to use it."

Sia then went on to comment about how she was fine in the shadows of her bigger musical contemporaries. "I have a family I love. They tend to say 'Great job!' Or 'You work really hard! Good for you!'"
