Yesterday (Oct. 25), actor/30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto logged into Reddit for a revealing AMA (Ask Me Anything). Among references and questions about some of his biggest movie roles (Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream), the "Up in the Air" singer hinted at some big plans between his own band and rapper Kanye West.

30 Seconds to Mars and the Yeezus rapper first collaborated on a remix of the band's This Is War single "Hurricane" in 2009. And that apparently won't be the last time fans can hear the odd musicians perform together.

When asked by user amidnightshow if he and West were still friends, Leto responded positively and then hinted at an upcoming collaboration. "Yes. We just collaborated on a secret project for our brand-new single City of Angels. It's coming out very #soon," Leto responded.

Even though the general secret is out of the bag, Leto didn't reveal any more details about the pair up or even a release date. 30 Seconds to Mars have been known to tease that things will be released soon, only to keep their dedicated fans (known as the Echelon) waiting for months. On the positive side for fans, "City of Angels" was just released as the second single from the band's latest album Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams.

The collaboration could really be anything, from another one of Leto's cinematic music videos to a new remix to a performance at West's big wedding with Kim Kardashian (though probably not the latter).

Regardless, it'll be fun for fans to keep their eyes and ears open for the big West-Leto collaboration.
