Taylor Swift & Alexander Skarsgard dating rumors on 'The Giver' 2013 movie set are false according to 'Sweeter Than Fiction' songstress' rep

It might be a good time to stop talking about Taylor Swift supposedly dating her The Giver co-star and True Blood heartthrob Alexander Skarsgard. These rumors have been circulating ever since Swift joined the cast of this film, which is filming now in South Africa. Joining a cast that includes other big names like Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges and Katie Holmes, it was just a matter of time before Swift was romantically linked to one of the other cast members (Australian actor Brenton Thwaites was her rumored boyfriend over the summer).

The latest rumor linking Swift and Skarsgard involved a number of alleged dinner dates in Los Angeles before filming started as well as some in South Africa during shooting.

"Before they left for Cape Town they had a couple of dinners in LA.," a source said. "He's much older than the guys Taylor has dated in the past year but maybe that's where she's going wrong."

These rumors were sort of backed up by photographic evidence of a dinner "date" in Cape Town, but it was soon revealed that other co-stars were in attendance as well. It was not a date!

Plus a rep for the "I Knew You Were Trouble" star has denied the pre-filming date rumors.

Simply put, Taylor is not dating Alexander Skarsgard so we should move on!
