Earlier this week, it was announced that Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, would hit theaters this Christmas. Now we have a brand new trailer for the film to celebrate this release news! Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal, Cristin Milioti, P.J. Byrne and Ethan Suplee also star.

The film follows the rise and fall of former Wall Street broker and party boy Jordan Belfort. DiCaprio leads the film as Belfort as we take the journey through lavish parties, expensive dinners, wild women and, ultimately, the demise that comes with all of these things.

This new trailer delves into the story a little more than the first, exploring more of the plot as opposed to the flashy attention-getting shots.

The Wolf of Wall Street was originally slated for a November 15 release, but Paramount decided to give Scorsese time to cut the film from it's original 180-minute run time its current 165-minute length. Of course, Scorsese is a high-profile name so the studio was happy to allot him some extra time.

"Marty's work is fantastic. He's continued to work on it but now it's officially going to be ready for Christmas Day and I'm delighted," said Paramount chairman Brad Grey.

With this Christmas release date, The Wolf of Wall Street will be up against such films as The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, 47 Ronin, Grudge Match and Justin Bieber's documentary Believe.
