Comedy Central's Workaholics has been bringing in the laughs and the ratings ever since it debuted back in 2011. With a fourth season coming up in 2014, hopes of a film adaptation are definitely within arms reach. In fact, a new report is claiming that this Workaholics movie could already be in pre-production at this point!

This sitcom that follows three telemarketers who can't seem to grow up explores issues like partying, smoking weed and ... well that's really it. The show stars Adam DeVine, Blake Anderson, and Anders Holm as they end up in hilarious and completely ridiculous situations each week. Having them on the big screen could only mean a larger scale of ridiculousness for audiences to enjoy.

Producer Scott Rudin, who has won awards in every entertainment field (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony), will bring this comedy to the big screen with DeVine, Anderson, and Holm starring along with their writing partners Connor Pritchard and Dominic Russo. Series co-creator Kyle Newacheck is set to direct the project, which is reportedly in the early stages of development right now.

Rudin previously brought another Comedy Central series to the big screen when he worked with Trey Parker and Matt Stone on South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. Perhaps this new Workaholics  film adaptation will bring the young stars some additional fame.

Are you excited to see these hilarious characters and their equally ridiculous antics on the big screen in the near future? Let us know what you're hoping for with this Workaholics movie in the comments section below!
