Kevin Spacey is a very recognizable and talented actor. He is the star of countless films and his recent work on the Netflix exclusive series House of Cards has garnered a lot of attention and is a great argument for the new way of producing television shows. Unfortunately, Spacey has yet to appear in a Woody Allen movie, so he wrote the filmmaker a letter complete with a subscription to Netflix.

This gesture might seem a bit random, but in a new interview with GQ Magazine, the actor explains that he was trying to show Allen his work. Considering House of Cards is exclusive on Netflix, this was Spacey's way of sharing his resume in a way.

"I wrote him a letter," Spacey explained in the interview with the magaize, "and introduced myself as an actor he may or may not know. And I sent him a Netflix subscription, because I want him to watch my work."

Here is an excerpt from the GQ article on Spacey:

Happily, Spacey says, this letter met with a positive response- "an absolutely wonderful letter" is how he describes Allen's reply- in which Allen has let him know that he is "in contention for things in the future," and also took the time to thank Spacey for the Netflix subscription.

So we could be seeing Kevin Spacey in a new Woody Allen film sometime in the near future! If this something you'd like to see happen?
