The "Fifty Shades of Grey" hype continues to be the talk-of-the-town. So much so, that even Mark Wahlberg has been included in the list of potential actors to play the lead part of Christian Grey. The 41-year old actor talks "Fifty Shades" plus the upcoming film on Canadian crooner, Justin Bieber.

E.L. James' best-selling erotica novel continues to become the most bought and read book worldwide. Reaching over 10 billion worldwide, the number continues to increase by the minute. With a love story unlike any other, almost everybody in Hollywood is lining up to play the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. However, not everybody in tinsel town agrees to act out the BDSM-themed role.

"I don't think I would consider playing the part, I don' think my wife would like that," explains Mark Wahlberg in an interview with Access Hollywood. Despite not getting the role, Mark was closer to getting "in" the film apart from everybody else.

"We were very close to getting the rights, we were talking with the writer before she had an agent," explained the 41-year old actor.

"I just knew that it was going to be a phenomenon, whether I thought it was good, bad or indifferent. It was definitely going to be one of those things that would create a huge buzz." added the actor.

Well, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise might not be in Wahlberg's' hands but another big name is. Mark is set to work alongside teenage heartthrob, Justin Bieber.

"We're just waiting for the script, I've seen 115 pages of it and it's really good," said Mark.

"It's kind of like the 'Color of Money,' [first you had] Paul Newman and Tom Cruise, and now me and Justin Bieber. It could be very good," added Wahlberg. Like everyone in the business, Mark has high hopes in the 18-year old singer, who has gone from singing to dancing to acting.

"He's focused, he's very serious about it," said Wahlberg about Justin Bieber. "We're trying to create an opportunity to showcase his talents and his abilities."

Sadly no Grey for Mark Wahlberg but the actor has something even better, Justin Bieber.
