It appears as if the lead vocalist for Maroon 5 is not at all content with a television stint for "The Voice" and "American Horror Story Season 2". Adam is said to be in the works for a big film debut. From a television show to the big screen, Levine is ready to show off his acting chops on the big screen.

Despite the break up with Victoria's Secret Model, Anne Vyalitsyna, Adam is moving in an all new direction in his life. A new album is set for a few months release, a television stint set for October and now a film in the works. What more can Adam Levine ask for? Well, a film debut is all that appears to be missing.

Maroon 5's front man is set to star in a silver screen film starring alongside the beautiful, Keira Knightley. Reports are saying the film entitled, "Can a Song Save Your Life?" will possibly be a romantic music-themed drama. Joining Adam Levine and Keira Knightley in the film would be Oscar Award Winner, Hailee Steinfeld and actor, Mark Ruffalo.

The film is said to be about an aspiring singer, played by Knightley, who moves to New York. Along with the move to the Big Apple is equally talented singer plus boyfriend, played by Levine. Both are set to pursue a career in music but Levine has other plans on his mind. Somewhat close to real life, Adam breaks it off with Knightley and pursues a solo recording contract. Keira is then left to her own devices and luckily discovered by record producer, Mark Ruffalo.

"Can a Song Save Your Life?" is set to be directed by John Carney, who is known for the film "Once". Joining the production, Judd Apatow is set to be the executive producer of the film. If all else works out, this film is Adam Levine's first ever big screen breakout. There has been no word on the production date for the film. As for "The Voice" judge, Levine is currently on tour with his band, Maroon 5.

So fans of Levine will have so much to look forward to this year. A new "Overexposed" album, a television stint in Ryan Murphy's' "American Horror Story" plus a big breakout film, Adam is definitely all set for this year.
