Saturday's NCAA basketball match up of Duke and Syracuse was one of the most talked about ones prior to tip off, and it certainly lived up to the expectations the world had. From great plays, arguments and bad decisions, this game had it all, but it was Duke who held on and downed the Orange in a 66-60 win.

The Duke Blue Devils had not lost consecutive regular season games since 2009 and they were trying to ensure they didn't let it happen in this game. Syracuse hadn't lost many games, only losing the Wednesday prior, so something had to give. This game had the makings of a season defining classing, and the players proved this on the court.

The young, talented Jabari Parker stepped up to the plate and delivered with 19 points and 10 rebounds, making a huge impact in his teams game-winning performance. The Orange hung on in there and kept trying to level the game near the end, but Duke proved they'd learned from the last time this duo met, and they were able to hold on and be crowned the nights victors.

This game could be the spark Duke have been in desperate need of, and for Syracuse it could be the motivation they need to continue to prior success, or the start of their fall from the top, proving they were too high for too long. This exciting game has increased the fans desires for March Madness to hurry up. If there's a couple of games that live up to half of this excitement then NCAA fans are in for a treat.
