Selena Gomez Dating Niall Horan Rumors 2014: 'Stars Dance' songstress 'opens up' about alleged romance with One Direction heartthrob?

The recent rumors about Niall Horan and Selena Gomez reportedly going on a date and even "making out a bit" have fans of One Direction and the "Come and Get It" songstress in a daze of euphoria and/or madness depending one who you're talking to. These two could make one of the most headline-worthy pop couple since, well, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, but is that in the cards for the rumored lovebirds? According to some insiders, Selena likes Niall, but not as much as he likes her.

Clearly this middle school definition of "love" is pretty arbitrary and vague, but the latest source to talk about the couple insists on this.   

"Selena likes Niall but its a case of Selena knowing that he likes her a lot and she wants a guy who plays hard to get or unattainable which is basically not Niall and is Justin," the insider explained. "Her friends want her to give Niall a better chance and since she never ultimately listens to them it just makes the seriousness of the relationship a major work in progress."

This new "update" on this situation could be completely false (which wouldn't be too surprising) or on-the-nose. There's no way to figure this out until this relationship is made public or slat-out denied by both of them.
