Borussia Dortmund Win Champions League Thriller.

When Borussia Dortmund reached the Champions League final last season many were surprised and so e suggested they'd struggle to get back this year. Perhaps they're correct, but Dortmund will do their best to prove the doubters wrong and started so by winning the first leg of their match against Zenit St. Petersburg 4-2. 

The exciting end-to-end match was the talk of Europe as fans were overjoyed at the attacking display they witnessed. A second half double for one of the best strikers in the world, Robert Lewandowski, was the difference maker as his second half double won them the game. For now Dortmund fans will be in awe of his heroics, but he will be joining rivals Bayern Munich in the summer, much to their disappointment.

Dortmund were tipped to win, but it's often a struggled for teams playing in Russia, as it's cold and unlike many other places they play, but Dortmund were able to play their normal game and at times they played as confidently as they would have done if they were at home. Zenit have a small chance of coming back, but they will have to do what many before have failed to do, and dominate Dortmund at their home arena.

With Barcelona and Munich the favourites this year, they will want an easy passage to success, so both will want to avoid Dortmund in the quarter finals. With the experience of last seasons failure, Dortmund will be looking to use that as motivation and go one further, and win the ultimate prize in soccer.
