Lady Gaga hit the stage for the first of five shows in Melbourne, Australia, last night wearing an updated version of the controversial raw meat dress she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

The dress was not made of real meat; the custom fabric was made to look like meat, according to The Daily Mail.

The faux meat dress outfit wasn't the only controversial look she wore that night for the "Born This Way Ball" concert. Another outfit change featured a bra made into the shape of two guns. One of her dancers stood behind her and grabbed the guns, pretending to shoot them.

Lady Gaga also shocked the crowd when she debuted her latest song "Princess Die" in Melbourne. The singer told her fans that the piano ballad reflected the most "deep and personal thoughts" she's ever had.

A video of Lady Gaga performing the new song was uploaded to YouTube soon after the show. The song is considered to be her darkest yet because it deals with suicide, according to News.com.au.

At the end of the tune, it is revealed that the song is about Princess Diana's tragic death in Paris in 1987.

Lady Gaga released her debut album "The Fame" in 2008. The album topped charts around the world and included the international number-one singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". She followed up the album with "The Fame Ball Tour," and then released "The Fame Monster" in 2009. That album included the worldwide hit singles "Bad Romance", "Telephone" and "Alejandro".

The tour for her most recent album "Born This Way", which was released in 2011, was one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.

Her many awards for her chart-topping success includes five Grammy Awards and 13 MTV Video Music Awards.

This year, Gaga was ranked number four on "Billboard" magazine and made "Forbes" magazine's list of top moneymakers of 2011 - grossing more than $25 million dollars.

Following her tour of Australia, Gaga will head to Europe in August where she will perform in Finland, Sweden, Germany and UK.
