Audio Leak: Alicia Keys New Single 'New Day'

Alicia Keys gave a taste of her upcoming album by releasing a new single "New Day" for fans to listen free on SoundCloud today (June 28).

Sharing the audio link, Keys tweeted, "Here's that first taste of what I was talking about... It's a ‪#AKNewDay‬!!! Let's fly! https://snd.sc/MYq3xA"

"New Day" is not the official single from her new album, however this glimpse into the new music is getting fans excited.

"That Beat!! That voice!! ‪#AKNewDay‬ ‪#Anthem‬" wrote one fan in response to Keys' link.

Another fan joined in the praise and wrote, "your song is AMAZING!! I already know half the chorus already!!! Very catchy and I love it!!! ‪#Shine‬!!!!! STRAIGHT UP AMAZING!"

Some were not so impressed and expressed, ""New Day" ain't bad, but it's not up to AK's standards of quality."

Keys opened her heart with fans earlier this week through a self video posted onto Youtube to explain the overall message behind the album. It will be one of empowerment and freedom.

The talented singer said in the video, ""It's like I'm a different person, a new person. Everything is new, from being married and having a baby, and what that's done for me in just giving me a sense of real stability, real connection, grounding, reason, and purpose."

Note: An article from June 28th, 2012 reported that Alicia Keys leaked the single on SoundCloud, however, the singer pulled the song out of her SoundCloud account later the same day.  The full single can be found on various Youtube channels made by fans.
