Teams like the Oklahoma Thunder are a scary proposition and it leaves struggling teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers wondering how they can copy their star-studded team? It wasn't easy, but the Thunder took the "lets stockpile draft talent" route, and it's paid dividends. The Cavaliers have opted for a similar path, but they're still a long way from being in the same bracket as the Thunder, but they have had some success with the youth they've plucked from the draft so far, so with the draft a few months away, who should they target to add to their talented, youthful core?

Of course the Cavaliers would love to add one of the projected top-three talents in Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins or Joel Embiid, but they may not strike lucky yet again in the NBA draft lottery. The Cavaliers can still get a playoff place, but with their inconsistent form it looks increasingly unlikely, meaning they may again take a place in the draft lottery. The last thing they'd want is to go on a horrific losing run, but if that happened, they would be rewarded with a franchise chaning players.

So with around six weeks left it seems like the Cavaliers should be winners either way. One way or another the Cavaliers will be looking for a consistent scoring threat, and they have glaring gaps that need filling. If they cannot entice Luol Deng or LeBron James to sign with their team, then they should pursue Rodney Hood, a small forward who could provide the Cavaliers with a new scoring threat that would compliment the likes of Dion Waiters and Kyrie Irving.

Who do you think the Cavaliers should draft?
