Frank Ocean, Diplo and members of The Clash team up for "Hero"

Frank Ocean (his legal name!) has been mostly silent since his excellent Channel Orange album in 2012. Luckily for ears, that streak has come to an end. Frank teamed up with Diplo and The Clash's Paul Jones and Simonon for "Hero," a track sponsored by Converse's Three Artists series. Give it a listen below:

The song isn't quite a winner the whole way through (that bombastic transistion bit is messy as all get out), but the laid back crooning at the beginning and the moment where things go all Diplo-y is straight up awesome.

Frank has promised a new album sometime this year and if it sounds like the first minute of this track, I'll wait in line for it.
