M.I.A. definitely isn't a fan of Oprah Winfrey or her "jealous" ex-boyfriend Diplo. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the London-born rapper M.I.A. discussed an uncomfortable run-in with Winfrey at a party back in 2009. "Time nominated me for one of the most influential people of the 21st century or something and I met Oprah at that party," M.I.A. told Rolling Stone. Back in 2012, there was talk that Taylor Swift was in line to play folk’s own Joni Mitchell in a silver screen biopic based on the book Girls Like Us, which chronicles the influence the folk legend, as well as Carol King and Carly Simon, had on the music industry.
