The message is pretty simple within the ranks of the Manchester City squad. Sunday's FA Cup exit to the lowly Wigan was not good enough and they will have to be at their very best to come from behind and beat Barcelona. Manchester City are desperate to prove they're a force to be reckoned with in Europe, but after a 2-0 defeat at home to Barcelona, they now face an uphill battle to progress into the quarter finals. Can Man City pull off a Champions League miracle?

At times, Barcelona practically unbeatable at home, and they'd have a clear advantage if the tie was a one off at their home ground, but with a 2-0 aggregate lead, Man City coming back from this deficit would rank as one of the Champion's League's greatest ever comebacks. With players of Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure's calibre it's clear that City have the attacking ability to hurt Barcelona, but can they stop the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar from increasing the already difficult deficit?

Goalkeeper Joe Hart could be in for a busy night and he will have to put in a star performance if his side are to have any chance of pulling off this miracle. City should have the motivation to put things right after Sunday's humiliating defeat. City have proven time and time again that they can score a ton of goals when they're at the best. If they're able to reach these heights in Spain, then qualification may not be impossible.

Can City pull off a big shock, or will they come back full of pride after an exit despite a good performance?
