The Cleveland Cavaliers have had an indifferent season, full of shocks and surprises, but they've won two in a row, and they're hoping to make it three in their road game against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Cleveland are 26-40 for the season, but 6-2 in their last 8 against Western Conference opponents, showing their players can get it done against the very best. Can the Cavaliers keep building their momentum, or will the Clippers put an end to it?

The key battle will be between elite NBA point guards Kyrie Irving and Chris Paul, and the difference in this encounter will likely be decided by who wins this guard battle. The Clippers are 47-20 and are on a 10-game winning streak, with both Paul and his big man Blake Griffin proving an unstoppable force.

The Cavaliers will feel confident of winning as they've been in much better form since trading for center Spencer Hawes. Hawes will have a busy night trying to contend with Griffin. While on paper this should be easy for the Clippers it's exactly the kind of game the Cavaliers love to raise their game for. Expect this to be a high scoring game regardless of the outcome.

The Clippers are a top contender to progress to the NBA finals, while the Cavaliers are lost in the middle, not knowing if they're going to get a superb draft pick, or sneak in to the playoffs. Who will win this match up, and who has the better point guard between the two teams?
