Linkin Park took the number one spot from Maroon 5 on the UK album chart published on Sunday (7/1).

The rock group's fifth studio album Living Things became their third UK No.1 album after Minutes To Midnight in 2008 and Meteora in 2003. It has sold about 3,000 copies more than Maroon 5's new album Overexposed.

Ed Sheeran's "+" climbed up to third place while teen pop star Justin Bieber slipped down to No. 4.

Will.i.am enjoyed his first No.1 rank in single chart. "This Is Love" featuring Eva Simons has sold 102,000 copies pushing "Payphone" by Maroon 5 down to second place.

This week's new entry on the single chart is "Don't Wake Me Up" by Chris Brown. It debuted at No. 3 and Flo Rida's "Whistle" dropped one place down.
