Everybody's favorite pop idol has just reached a milestone: Justin Bieber has officially graduated from high school!

The "Boyfriend" singer recently finished all his requirements, earning himself a diploma. He was part of the 2012 graduating class of St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in his hometown, Stratford, Ontario.

Although the commencement exercises happened last week Thursday, the teen heartthrob did not show up in person to march up the stage. However, the "Baby" singer's name was included in the program.

When asked by QMI, Tim Doherty, the principal for St. Mike, said that he was proud of the Bieb.

"We are very proud of Justin and all of the other 192 graduates of St. Michael School, however, we're not at liberty to discuss any personal plans or information about Justin or any other graduate," said principal Doherty to QMI, as reported by E! Online.

Scooter Braun first noticed Justin Bieber through his YouTube account, then arranging him to meet up with entertainer Usher. Soon enough, he was signed to Raymond Braun Media Group. He is well known for his songs like his debut single "One Time", "Baby", and his most current single, "Boyfriend".

It's a good thing that Justin still managed to accomplish all that school load, along with his unending tours around the globe, updating his millions and millions of followers, marketing his own perfume and spending quality time with his gorgeous girlfriend Selena Gomez. So how did he manage to graduate even with that hectic schedule?

"The agency reports the popster took courses through e-learning, though the nature of his course load remains classified out of respect for his privacy. St. Michael does require its students to complete 30 credits, including 16 mandatory classes, however." reports E! Online about how the popstar finished school.

Aside from the world tour, Justin Bieber is also set to make a film with Mark Wahlberg. Aside from this, Bieber is also set on making a name for himself, not wanting to be compared to anyone, like Justin Timberlake.

"I mean, I'm not trying to sound like anyone. Saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment. ... I think if you were to say 'I definitely heard some Justin Timberlake-esque things in your sound,' I would take that as a compliment." reports E! Online regarding the said comparison.
