The Wachowski siblings definitely have minds for the weird and dramatic when it comes to original sci-fi movies and 2014's Jupiter Ascending could be their most ambitious projects yet. With Hollywood stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum leading this adventure film, we get a whole new story of a whole new universe with Jupiter Ascending.

We're calling this film ambitious because there's really no other way to describe it. Tatum, one of the most recognizable faces and names in Hollywood, is dressed up as an albino wolf-human hybrid of sorts. That is clearly a bold move!

This week we were treated to the first movie posters for Jupiter Ascending. These new posters gave us a great look at Kunis' character (above) and Tatum's interesting role (below).

Here is a synopsis for this highly anticipated sci-fi film:

Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
