Dayton have without a doubt been one of the biggest surprises in this years NCAA tournament and some were wondering if they could go all the way. The Dayton Flyers had big aspirations, but the Florida Gators had even bigger ones, ones that involve winning a national championship. The Gators cruised to their 62-52 win, finally showing it was possible to beat the Flyers. Now they'll turn their attention to the Final Four.

Scottie Wilbekin made the difference as he scored 23 points, ensuring the Gators reached their fifth Final Four. This win could push them to success, as it's the point they've lost in the last three tournaments, so many are expecting it to act as a huge boost towards going the distance. They also won their 30th straight game, showing that they are indeed one of the in form teams, and that the Flyers needed more than luck to have another fairytale ending.

Florida coach Billy Donovan said "I couldn't be prouder and happier," and he continued to explain his post-game excitement saying "In a lot of ways, outside the Michigan game, we were close to being in three out of four Final Fours right now, and that says a lot about these guys. But I think those experiences maybe helped us be a better team this year than maybe we would have if we'd have gotten to a couple of ones earlier.'"

Dyshawn Pierre was impressive for the Flyers, scoring 18 points, but it wasn't enough on this occasion, although it's increased his reputation. Now the Flyers will live in awe of their story and the Gators will look to write the rest of their story, starting with their Final Four encounter.
