Through the efforts of Dion Waiters and Luol Deng, the Cleveland Cavaleirs were able to pull off a huge upset by beating the Indiana Pacers. Not only did they win, they won by a clear fourteen points, which is not easy to do against the Pacers, and in their 90-76 victory, they proved they're able to restrict one of the very best teams to a very low amount of points.

The Cavaliers have had indifferent form, and they're struggling to find consistency, and although victories like this will be welcomed, some can't help but slate the team for playing overly well some nights, and extremely poor another. The Cavaliers still, however, have a small chance of making the playoffs this season, and fulfilling their ambition set before the season started after all. It's clear that some consistency would of ensured they had a place by now, though.

If the Cavaliers were to sneak in to the playoffs at the expense of the slumping Atlanta Hawks, then it's likely that we could see a series between the Cavaliers and Pacers, but it's unlikely they'd find it as easy to win a game as they did in tonight's encounter. A series between the two would provide for some much needed playoff excitement, but the Cavaliers would have to reach this level on several occasions, and yet again, that's something an inconsistent team would most likely fail to do.

Do the Pacers still have a chance at winning the NBA championship, and do you think the Cavaliers deserve the final playoff place?
