For many years people have been predicting Jabari Parker to become the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, and he's been locked in a battle with Andrew Wiggins for that coveted spot, but is he about to hand that prize over without a fight? After a disappointing finish to an otherwise positive first season he hinted that he may remain with his NCAA team, the Duke Blue Devils, but many laughed it off thinking he'd opt for the NBA. Reports suggest that he has signed up for sophomore accommodation, so has Parker picked a sophomore season, or is he merely covering all his options?

His rival Wiggins has already declared for the draft, and many were expecting him to follow that path, but this has made everybody reconsider what they'd already thought was a simple formality. Would it be wise for Parker to stay in school, or should he jump in to the NBA as soon as possible. After all staying another year hasn't always worked out well for NCAA athletes.

With the 2014 draft full of talent, staying one more season provides Parker with the chance to build a bigger legacy and go out on a high, leaving himself no competition within next years draft. Perhaps a year away from the evident battle he's faced, and will continue to face with Andrew Wiggins, will do his career no harm. Although it's still possible for Parker to be drafted this season, it's looking a tougher decision than many had predicted.

What should Parker do with his career?
