WEST COAST IS HERE!!!!!! And we are thinking this warrants calling into work just so we can play the song all day long.

After days of build up, the official audio for Lana's new single "West Coast" is finally here. It was posted to the official Lana Del Rey Vevo page this morning, and this song is giving us life.

The track was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and written by Lana along with Rick Nowels who has previously penned tracks for Stevie Nicks, Dido, and Lykke Li.

We are definitely hearing some of that Stevie Nick's magic in this song. It's giving us a flashback to Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon," mixed with Stevie's "Edge of Seventeen". The "oh baby oh baby" lyrics are definitely a direct homage to NIck's "Seventeen" there's no doubt about that.

We can also hear some old Lana in this song as well. In the lyrics "On the balcony and I'm singing oh baby oh baby I'm in love," we are hearing a very similar sound to that of her single "Gods and Monsters" from her latest EP Paradise.

You can tell that she has evolved from her Paradise album but has still keeps true to her signature sound. This is the first single of her upcoming Ultraviolence album which she said is "so wrong and exquisite. It is absolutely gorgeous- darker than the first." If this track is any indication of what the album will sound like we are going to be in heaven.

Now all we want to do all day is put this song on repeat and dance around in circles, is that too much to ask?
